1. Open Minecraft

Then, you can click on “Play” in the green box and Minecraft will begin to launch.
2. Join the Hypixel server
Once Minecraft has opened, you need to click on the “Multiplayer” button on the main menu.
Next, if you haven’t already added Hypixel to your “Server List”, then you need to.
You need to click on “Add Server” in the bottom right of Minecraft.
Now, you need to type in Hypixel’s IP address. This is: mc.hypixel.net.
Once you have typed the IP, then you can click on “Done”.
This will add Hypixel to your “Server List”.
Also, in order to join the server, you need to be running a version of Minecraft which Hypixel supports.
So, to join the server, you now need to select Hypixel by clicking on it once, then you need to click on “Join Server”.
Before you can block the player, you need to make sure you know the username of the player.
It’s worth writing down exactly how it is displayed.
3. Block the player on Hypixel
Once you have joined the server, you need to tap on the “T” button on your keyboard.
This will open up the Minecraft chat.
Now, you need to enter a command in order to block the player.
You need to type in: /ignore add
Then, after “add” you need to type the players username exactly how it is.
If you type the username in incorrectly, then you may end up blocking the wrong player, and the player you wanted to block won’t be.
The command should end up looking something like: /ignore add Example
Once you are ready to execute the command, you need to tap on the “Enter” key on your keyboard.
Now, you will get a response from the server saying “Added player name to your ignore list.”
However, if you get a different message, like player not found, then this means you have entered the player’s username incorrectly.
Try and find the correct username. If you can’t find the username, then you may not be able to block them for now.
You may be wondering what “ignore” means.
Well, players cannot see the messages of ignored players, and cannot interact with players with them.
How to unblock someone on Hypixel
Here are the steps to unblock someone on Hypixel.
1. Launch Minecraft
First of all, you need to open up the Minecraft launcher.
Secondly, you need to log in to your account if you aren’t already logged in.
If you have multiple Minecraft accounts, you need to log in to the account you want to unblock the player from.
Click on the green “Play” button in order to launch the game.
2. Join Hypixel
Now, you need to join the Hypixel server.
So, from the Minecraft main menu, click on the Multiplayer button.
Then, this will load the “Server List”.
If you haven’t already added Hypixel, then click on “Add Server” in the bottom right and type in Hypixel’s IP, which is: mc.hypixel.net
Next, you need to select the server by clicking on it, and then click on “Join Server” in the bottom left.
You will now be connecting to the server!
3. Unblock the player on Hypixel
Once you have joined the server, you need to tap on the “T” button on your keyboard in order to open up the Minecraft chat.
If you are unsure of the username of the player who you want to unblock, then you need to type in the command: /ignore list
Then, you can view everyone you have ignored or blocked on Hypixel.
Note down the username of the player you want to unblock. It has to be correct, otherwise the user you intend to unblock won’t be unblocked.
In order to unblock the user, you need to type in the command: /ignore remove
After “remove“, you need to type in the players username who you want to unblock.
As we mentioned earlier, the username must be correct. Otherwise, you won’t unblock the user who you intend to unblock.
So, the command should look like this: /ignore remove Example
In order to execute the command, you need to press the “Enter” key on your keyboard.
Then, you should see a message in the Minecraft chat saying “Removed Example from your ignore list.”
This means that you have successfully unblocked the user!
If you get an error message, then this means you entered the username of the player incorrectly.
Try viewing the list of the ignored players again to find the correct username of the player you want to unblock.
