Disable message notifications

A further way to block texts is to disable all message notifications, but still allow notifications when you are called.

1. Open the Settings app

Firstly, you need to open up the Settings app.

Unless you have moved it, you can find the Settings app on the first page of apps on your phone.

If you cannot find it, you can swipe to the App Library and search for it there.

2. Look for Notifications in your Settings

Secondly, you need to scroll through your settings and look for “Notifications”.

It will have an icon which is a bell.

Once you have found the setting, tap on it.

3. Find Messages in your Notifications settings

Next, you need to scroll down the Notifications page and look for “Messages”.

The list should be in alphabetical order.
